A Toyota Rav IV was making a left onto Ridge Road from Lydia Lane in Ramapo Ridge when it struck by a Lincoln sedan heading south around 8 a.m., Police Chief James A. Batelli said.
The female Rav IV’s driver had her son and daughter in the back seat, Batelli said. All were wearing their seat belts, he said, adding that the airbags deployed.
The driver of the sedan, who was also wearing a seat belt, was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood after complaining of neck and chest pain, the chief said.
The boy complained of stomach pains, while the girl had a cut above her eye, he said.
None of the injuries were considered serious, Batelli said.
Summonses were being withheld pending an investigation.
